To be be a good fit for the Director of Culture, Inclusion and Diversity opportunity, you will have:
  • A bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources or another related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in organizational development, human resources or similar, including 5+ years leading culture, engagement, inclusion and diversity initiatives at the director level. Quick question for you - click here
  • Proven expertise in and a passion for culture, engagement, inclusion and diversity.
  • A demonstrated ability to lead significant and lasting cultural change.
  • An innovative mindset as well as the ability to inspire innovation in others.

You will develop, socialize and implement programs and services that promote culture, engagement, inclusion and diversity (CEI&D), and also ensure that existing programs and services are well-known to employees. We have many of the pieces and your role will be to continue to build and ensure that they come together effectively.
 
We are looking for a professional who can act as a true partner to various groups and business units, helping them deliver on our core values. The vision and strategy you develop should go beyond ethnicity and gender. In addition, you'll help others build skills not only in CEI&D, but also in managing change. You'll work with different groups to achieve your goals. For example, we recently introduced new Engagement Ambassadors in the U.S. who will promote inclusion & diversity, our mission, wellness and employee development.
 
Another area in which you can make an impact is in building collaboration in the organization. We have grown both organically and via mergers & acquisitions, and you'll help develop leaders across the organization to encourage communication and knowledge sharing.
 
A sampling of your specific responsibilities:
  • Designing strategies that are holistic and also address specific needs in driving business performance and organization culture.
  • Developing metrics for measuring and monitoring overall CEI&D, as well as the effectiveness of specific programs.
  • Creating and delivering training to help employees embrace different perspectives; you'll also provide "train the trainers" support for managers and supervisors.
  • Ensuring CEI&D strategies integrate effectively with HR strategies and programs.
  • Providing coaching and guidance for various groups.
  • Managing the CEI&D budget.
