To meet the basic qualification for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. In addition, to be a good fit for the Data Analyst, Business Intelligence opportunity, you will have:
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Statistics, or another relevant field.
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in business analysis.
  • Exposure to BI tools and advanced analytics techniques (such as Tableau, SQL, Alteryx and Excel) is desired.
  • Exposure to large quantities of data, and an understanding of database structure and data extraction principles. Quick question for you - click here
  • Exposure to data-driven optimization, pattern identification and storytelling across consumer-facing domains.
  • Exposure to translating business strategy into appropriate analytical enablers and bringing them to fruition.
  • Passion to deliver the benefits that data-driven decision-making can bring to organizations.

  • Knowledge of MS Office.
  • The ability to learn quickly.

You will join the Business Intelligence and Analytics team, part of the new DITAC organization within Essilor that is transforming Essilor's business model. The position will report to the Manager, Business Intelligence and Analytics. The DITAC team is leveraging best-of-breed tools to help bring the eye care industry forward, providing insights based on consumer-level data. We are helping eye care professionals bring in patients faster and enhance their ability to market, up-sell and cross-sell Essilor-Luxottica products.

Digital is at the heart of consumer awareness and interaction (search, select, buy) in our category and plays a key role in delivering on our Mission and growth objectives. Towards this end, we seek to establish a leadership position in providing consumers with information and tools to enhance their vision.

In this role, you will measure the impact of DITAC programs across all facets (All About Vision, consumer acquisition, lead generation through pathways, and retention) via a consistent, replicable set of measurement tools and reports that provide both executives and the operating teams with insights on progress and areas of opportunity.

You'll support synthesizing analytics and DITAC strategies to develop new approaches to achieve the business pipeline. You'll also keep abreast of developments in analytics processes and adapt them to the company’s strategy and standards, keeping up with industry best practices.

The main scope of the role entails optimizing performance across the entire DITAC program, improving reporting efficiency and standardizing processes. Quick question for you - click here More specifically, you will:
  • Monitor and track KPIs, helping to measure and optimize the effectiveness of DITAC strategies and using creative processes to suggest improvements.
  • Develop and implement management scorecards for the full suite of DITAC initiatives.

  • Support the analysis of complex data and analytics processes to determine problems, risks and opportunities for improvement.
