This is your chance to provide the leadership that takes our EHS vision and programs to the next level and enhances the value of those programs across Essilor of America. You'll also showcase your creativity as you identify new ways to conduct audits and carry out other tasks remotely.

Professional development
The EHS team is lean, so you will be exposed to all aspects of strategy and tactics. We know you'll bring significant experience and knowledge, but we also believe there will be new things to learn. In addition, we expect the EHS team to grow, giving you the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities.

Global commitment to EHS

This is a broad role leading a small team to execute on high expectations. You'll need high energy along with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Strategic thinking and vision will be essential, but just as important will be your ability to take charge and make things happen. At the same time, a bull-in-the-china-shop approach won't work here. You'll need to sell your ideas, bringing people around to your way of thinking by showing them why it's the right thing to do.

You'll present to a variety of leaders as well as employees, such as speaking at site all-staff meetings. As you present, you should communicate technical information in a way that makes sense for non-technical people. You'll also need a management leadership presence to earn confidence and respect. A touch of charisma would be helpful in this area.

Because we run lean, everyone is willing to wear multiple hats and get hands-on. For example, you may create training materials yourself. You can take advantage of internal and external resources, such as outsourcing production of a training video, but you'll still need to oversee those resources closely.
