Reporting to the Associate Director of Transitions and Categories, as Senior Associate Product Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies and tactics to support the growth of the Transitions and key account product portfolios. You will collaborate with Project Management, Supply Chain, Managed Care, Account Managers/Sales teams, Analytics and other marketing functions to ensure the financial success and growth of products throughout their lifecycle.

As an essential member of the Product Development team, you will develop expertise on product commercialization and technical attributes in categories critical to Essilor (Transitions, key accounts products, and blue protection categories) to ensure product value propositions are clearly and effectively communicated through go-to-market channels. You will maintain a customer focus as you work on new product and portfolio launches, RFPs and, as the owner of a new role, the organizational structure and relationship building that will ensure success. 

Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Driving commercialization for Transitions branded products in addition to other categories
  • Understanding competitive offerings, market trends and how to position and differentiate products
  • Developing agency briefs, timelines, and materials needed to ensure successful and timely implementation of key collateral
  • Collaborating with key account management and marketing teams to develop in-store product portfolio positioning
  • Directing agencies and outside vendors to develop trade and consumer in-store marketing collateral and ensure appropriate trade advertising communications
  • Working with partners, the Analytics team and agencies to measure and report results on all relevant products
  • Ensuring legal compliance with product claims, training and collateral
  • Supporting content and traveling, as required, to meetings, trainings, and tradeshows
  • Meticulously tracking and reporting budget expenditures
  • Actively contributing to the Marketing team
  • Conducting special projects as assigned
