The team is currently working remotely, however, when it is safe to do so, we anticipate a return to working primarily in our Dallas office.

Reporting to the Director, Business Strategy & Modeling, and supporting the VP of Business Insights & Analytics and the CFO of Essilor of America (EOA), and other EOA groups, you will be responsible for developing and driving the analysis and execution of integrated commercial program initiatives. Your key activities will include recommendation and validation through strategic business modeling and analysis, upstream and holistic market assessments, and articulating commercial program initiatives through modeling and analytics. More specifically, In the following areas, you will:

Business Strategy & Modeling

• Perform complex data modeling and analysis (e.g. predictive modeling to translate marketplace trends’ impact on Essilor of America (EOA) and Essilor Instruments (EI).
• Develop business models and cases to provide recommendations to senior leadership to achieve the organization’s financial and strategic objectives.
• Interact with cross-functional business leads in the assessment of commercial opportunities and recommend solutions.
• Work on complex problems and develop business cases where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
• Work on special projects having an impact on EOA.

Commercial Offerings

• Coordinate offers and RFP answers with the Sales team, commercial program managers and all the necessary internal resources (lab organization, Legal, Finance, Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, Affiliate companies, external providers, etc.)
• Build innovative solutions and strategies through business modeling and analytics to retain existing business and/or grow market share, win new business and deliver profitable growth.
• Responsible for evaluating the financial outcome of RFPs and ensure the appropriate level of management support.
• Provide the appropriate level of recommendation for Executive Management to make the best business decision.
• Develop best practices and reusable materials.
• Create presentations based upon research, providing insight for the strategy team and executive management.

Innovations & New Channels Initiatives

• Support Sales team on initiatives with innovations and new channel projects.
• Ensure business modeling and cases are consistency with overall EOA and EI business strategy.
• Analyze potential new business agreements and strategic growth initiatives.
• Contribute to the generation of critical insights and recommendations through synthesis of internal and external data.
