  • Documented experience in commercial sales OR documented experience with Managed Vision Care plans
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer-facing experience with solid training and/or presentation skills
  • Proficient computer and software skills including MS Office programs; resourcefulness using online resources
  • An understanding of financial concepts and how sales activities impact the P&L and other financial measures
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and listening communication skills; ability to effectively connect with customers and tactfully ask tough questions; diplomacy
  • A consistent sense of urgency with the ability to follow-through on all internal and external commitments and communication

Reporting to the National Manager of the Managed Vision Care Program, you will support the sales process by serving as an MVC program expert operating in tandem with Sales to win business, and helping ECPs maximize their profits through training and analysis. You won't attend every sales call, but will typically join the Sales toward the end of the sales cycle to help close the business and implement the program. On occasion, you may meet with customers or prospects without Sales. Specifically, you will:
  • Conduct seminars and presentations for customers, as requested by Account Executives, to market the Training and Managed Vision Care Program.
  • Work closely with the Strategic Account Directors, VPGMs, Sales Managers and Account Executives across channels.
  • Perform monthly business reviews with your manager and quarterly business reviews with Sales Managers across channels. 
  • Both assist and leverage the broader Sales organization to align efforts and strategic initiatives that are in place with our largest, national customers.  
  • Work to assist the Marketing department by accumulating competitive information. 
  • Support Marketing in the gathering of information required to calculate clear ROIs on marketing investments made.
  • Attend industry tradeshows, team meetings, customer meetings and conferences as needed.
  • Ensure that customers' needs are represented in leadership meetings within the Regional Business reviews.
  • Focus on developing strong working relationships with corporate internal customers to maximize and deliver on opportunities with your assigned external customers.
  • Document, in a timely and detailed manner, all customer interactions, commitments and meaningful communication in the CRM system.
  • Complete all requested and required administrative tasks in a timely and complete manner (e.g. travel and entertainment expenses, monthly reports, Account Plans and other requests).
