To meet the basic qualification for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. In addition, to be a good fit for the Sales Support Analyst opportunity, you will have:
  • A bachelor’s degree, ideally in Business, Business Administration, or another relevant field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience  Quick question for you - click here
  • 2+ years of successful experience in a similar role(s), ideally working with field sales; 4-6 years of experience required without a bachelor's degree (A.A. or no degree)
  • Strong computer skills and experience including deep knowledge of MS Excel, especially data manipulation (Sort, VLOOKUP, Chart, etc.), and experience with one or more of the following:
    • Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) system(s) preferred
    • DataViz tools such as Tableau, Qlik Sense, or PowerBI preferred
    • Large data manipulation is a plus
    • SQL is a plus
    • CRM software, ideally SalesForce.com is a plus
  • A high degree of technical knowledge and hands-on experience in complex data systems and processes
  • Ability to accurately compile and analyze both quantitative and qualitative data
  • Proven ability to assess problems and research solutions
  • A background in forecasting and/or experience doing heavy statistical calculations is a plus

Reporting to the Manager, Compensation Administration, as Sales Support Analyst, you will be responsible for administering the commission process and ensuring that the Eye Care Practices (ECP) Sales organization is paid accurately and on time. You will support a sales team of 200+ throughout the quarterly commission cycle. Your primary responsibility will be to calculate commissions based on sales results and provide data analytics, but you'll also work directly with Sales team members, serving as a subject matter expert who is available to answer questions, address concerns and provide guidance. Specifically, you will:
  • Execute sales commissions calculations, workflow approval, payroll processing, and reporting
  • Review commission calculations to ensure accuracy prior to uploading into the payment system and in time for each quarterly payment cycle/close
  • Analyze existing sales commissions processes; find and suggest opportunities for improvement
  • Establish the reporting cadence for sales compensation data (e.g. quota attainment distribution, true-ups, draws, etc.)
  • Analyze commissions and processes by developing MS Excel spreadsheet tools to meet the need
  • Support the sales territory alignment process
  • Perform QoQ/YoY analysis of sales incentive data to identify trends and benchmark them against industry trends
  • Work closely with the Reporting and Analytics team to ensure high accuracy of the data used to calculate and publish commissions
  • Participate in meetings with team members and management to discuss changes and improvements
  • Act as an ECP Sales Operations super user for:
    • ECP sales data (e.g. Qlik Sense and Tableau)
    • KPI tool
