High impact, high visibility
Our small department is relied upon for quick and accurate information, and our group can turn a large amount of data in a short time, making a broad impact. We are also highly visible, interacting regularly with multiple business units (commercial, marketing, international teams, leadership teams, and more), directly with senior VPs, and sometimes even with the CEO of the company.

Professional development
We are looking for a professional with the bandwidth to grow along with the team and the company, and we're committed to ensuring you have the tools and training needed to thrive here. For example, we’re willing to provide funds for approved classes, such as to gain certifications related to your job. While you could be happy and challenged in this role for years to come, proven performers can also pursue new opportunities across Essilor.

Great environment
You will join a team that includes dedicated, sharp and mutually supportive professionals. We’ve built an open, vocal environment, where we believe in diversity of thought and want people to gently challenge each other, with respect for everyone’s points of view, no judgements, and lots of support. This is a very comfortable environment where we have genuine care for each other’s wellbeing. In addition, the wider Essilor culture is entrepreneurial and fresh, backed by 170 years of success.

Your technical skills will be essential, but just as important will be the ability to think creatively to come up with better ways to reach the right data. We’re looking for someone who likes to tinker, constantly looking for ways to improve what has already been done. You should also enjoy learning, as there is always something new to learn every day about your tasks, the role, and the optical industry.

As we've mentioned, our team is lean. We need people who are dependable and able to self-manage to produce the work in a timely way – once you're assigned a task, you solve it, publish it, and are able to maintain it. Even though we’re currently working remotely, we find it important that we collaborate as a team, which also means you’ll need to be available during our normal work hours to jump into a quick meeting or discussion if needed.

The pace is fast and change happens frequently at Essilor. Those who excel here truly enjoy the dynamic environment and remain flexible, agile, and able to pivot. Our ideal candidate for this role enjoys work where no two days are the same and each day brings new challenges. To thrive here, you’ll need to be good at switching gears and responding quickly as priorities change. For example, we may receive requisitions from a variety of departments that need to be prioritized, and we may need to drop a current project to the back burner to quickly fill a leadership request that comes in.

It’s a little bit of chaos, but we all thrive on solving it. If that sounds like an environment you'd enjoy, then we want to hear from you!
