  • Experience with LMS software, ideally Optifacts, preferred.

Reporting to the Regional Operations Director, you will work as part of a team responsible for systems support and improvements that will increase the profitability, efficiency, and flexibility of the Domestic Industrial Lab Network. You will support our St. Cloud campus, including two labs, and work with Lab Team Leaders to create an environment of trust where systems developments and enhancements can be adopted and integrated into current working practices, and where technologies are fully utilized. Daily, you will provide systems support, knowledge, and technical expertise to support Lab goals and imperatives and maximize system improvement opportunities.

Your responsibilities will fall into a few key areas:
  • Supporting Optifacts LMS and other applications. This role is part of a training program designed to provide continual learning in all aspects of lab systems operations and integration and field support activities.  Quick question for you - click here
  • Applying your IT and problem-solving skills to provide IT support via a ticketing system.
  • Participating in special projects to gain a broad understanding of processes and procedures and the systems that support lab operations, and to eventually progress into a Regional Systems Support Lead role.
More specifically, you will:
  • Work to achieve subject matter expertise in:
    • Optifacts LMS and other lab applications deployed.
    • Systems reporting capabilities.
  • Support Lab Team Leaders within Labs to meet the Operational Excellence objectives defined below through the utilization of current systems and the deployment of systems improvements and new functionalities:
    • Service – Turn-time, Service Level, and Late Jobs.
    • Quality – Breakage and Redos.
    • Unit Cost – Finishing, Coating, Transportation.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Ensure a well-maintained and robust environment that meets current and future business needs by identifying areas of opportunity for Continuous Improvement.
    • Prepare functional requirements that will deliver Lab defined enhancements to meet business needs.
    • Define and capture the metrics to measure the impact and success of these improvements.
  • Project Support:
    • Gather user requirements needed for new systems evaluation.
    • Participate in the definition, evaluation, development, and deployment of new systems solutions to ELOA Lab network.
    • Process mapping to identify potential impact and risk areas.
  • IT Support:
    • Computer upgrades, map drives, add programs, copy data across when need to swap out computers.
    • Connect data lines to printers, computers, scanners, etc.
