To meet the basic qualification for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. In addition, to be a good fit for the Senior Financial Analyst, Key Accounts opportunity, you will have:

  • 3 to 5 years of financial analysis experience.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Excellent functional skills in business reporting software such as Oracle, SAP, Qlik, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles.
  • Professional history demonstrating ambition and growth through progressive responsibility.
  • Experience with budgeting and forecasting is a plus.
Just as important will be the following competencies and characteristics:
  • A customer-first orientation with a drive for results.
  • A team player approach and the ability to work with people within and outside of the finance department.

Reporting to the Manager, Business Analysis, you be responsible for the development of long-term customer partnerships through financial modeling and analysis of Key Account opportunities. This will include supporting the Key Account executive team through the management of opportunity pipelines with adherence to defined due diligence processes, and utilizing sound financial criteria and metrics. You'll align with field sales management and account managers to ensure that Key Account growth goals are achieved.

The accounts you will support are very large, private-equity-owned organizations that are somewhat unique in our industry. There are complexities in these accounts involving customized processes, and you will have occasion to work outside defined parameters and recommend changes and addenda. You'll interact regularly with customers, Account Managers, Marketing, VPs overseeing these accounts. On occasion, you may interact with the CFO and CEO.

To give you a sampling of specific activities, your responsibilities will fall into four main areas. In the area of customer development / acquisition / retention financial modeling, you will:
  • Handle cross-functional process coordination with timeline management and progress tracking for Key Account opportunities.
  • Work directly with field sales management to identify potential partnerships from initial information gathering.
  • Develop and revise financial analysis proforma modeling specific to a customer’s business needs while maintaining financial metrics and performance expectations.

With regard to monthly performance reporting, you will:

  • Create variance analyses comparing actual results to contractual expectations and prior year history to identify outlying performance behaviors and customers that require field sales attention.

In budget and forecasting, you will:
  • Assist the business unit's Management Team and the Finance Team to produce an annual budget and monthly forecast for their business units.
  • Produce annual budget with input from top management and operations.
  • Produce forecast in conjunction with the EOA annual forecast process.
In the area of Ad Hoc / Special Projects, you will:
  • Support the VP Key Accounts and Director Finance BA as requested for special projects related to sales growth, profit improvement, systems enhancement or any other business needs.
  • Work with the Finance organization as needed throughout the forecasting and budgeting process.
  • Identify opportunities to increase sales opportunities and profitability throughout the organization.
