To meet the basic qualification for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. In addition, to be a good fit for the Account Executive opportunity, you will have:

You will take over an established territory covering NW Arkansas. You'll work out of your home office and should expect to spend the majority of your time in the field. You'll focus a good deal of your attention on Fayetteville, where there is a lot business, but will also be responsible for the wider territory.

Reporting to a District Sales Manager, you will join a team of talented Account Executives and cover the NW Arkansas territory. You will serve as the first level of contact with existing accounts and also pursue new business in your area. Representing the products and services of Essilor Labs of America (ELOA), you'll work primarily with independent eye care professionals (iECPs) and some larger accounts, such as clinics.  Quick question for you - click here

You'll invest about 75% of your time ensuring excellent service to existing accounts, and about 25% in prospecting for new business. You'll be responsible for sales performance, customer relations, and growing sales volume for Essilor branded products in assigned accounts. In addition, you'll be responsible for the acquisition and growth of your channel partners' business and loyalty through the positioning and delivery of branded products, marketing strategies, service excellence and technical superiority.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Driving acquisition and growth of your Essilor Channel Partners' business and loyalty through the positioning and delivery of branded products, marketing strategies, service excellence and technical superiority
  • Utilizing corporate tools and applications to document, plan, monitor, and meet sales objectives within your territory
  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with customer service and lab personnel to ensure successful customer relations

  • Communicating on an ongoing basis with the District Sales Manager regarding personal development, sales results, and plans of action

Relationship building is a strong component of this role, and you should take a full-office approach to interacting with opticians, physicians, owners, front desk personnel and others. At times this will require a tough skin, as you will be on the front line of resolving issues and mistakes. You'll also need to build relationships with internal contacts to make it easier to resolve issues quickly. Those who succeed here are typically invested in and enjoy helping others to succeed.

While this role focuses on account management, you should bring the entrepreneurial drive of a hunter. You'll get to know your existing customers and their businesses, always looking for ways to expand the account. You also should take advantage of Essilor resources, such as brand specialists, to support these efforts. This will require that you maintain the right balance between being assertive and establishing trust-based relationships.
